*******ALL CAUGHT UP*********
it is not exactly in the right order, but is is a good look at what we have been up to for the past year. now that i am all caught up i can start posting CURRENT events!
Pike Market, Seattle WA
Childrens Museum
This is one of the favorite places for the kids to go when in Seattle. If you ever get the chance to go DO IT, it is money WELL spent. Give yourself a couple of hours to do it though to be able to enjoy EVERYTHING.
Picture #1 - Sarah and Emily in the old fashioned theatre, they have lighting, and music you can play with.
Pic #2 - Sarah and Emily serving David and I mexican food, it is a kid sized restaurant.
Pic #3 - Sarah and Em working in a Sushi restaurant.
Pic #4 - A working display of how the piers work. You pick boxes up out of the ships and put them in the places they go. The girls loved it!
A visit for the family team!
Woodland Park Zoo -- WA
I don't know how we got so lucky with such great weather that day. All the animals were out, we even got a shot of the elusive white wolf, which the zoo ambassador said was the first time she has seen it since she has been volunteering there. These are our favorite pics.
(I am sure that there is some halitosis going on in the hippo picture) Point Defiance Zooquarium -- WA
New Years Eve

For New Years Eve, we went to a friends birthday party at the Nampa Rod and Gun club. They had childrens gun safety, and shooting, and we found out that the Monkey just might turn out to be the sniper in the family! Seriously, Scott said that if Andy works with her she should be able to do competition shoots. I think that this is a big boost to her self esteem in the "eye" area. in watching for famous people with only one eye, I have come across an olympic gold medal winner in the biathlon that only has one eye. That could be the Monkey's sport.
Mama mia! Pizzaria!
A night at the roller derby
The first picture is Andy and I with Josh. He lives in Utah and came down to hang with the boys for a weekend.
The second picture is Laura, myself, and "Skylar".
The third picture is of the roller derby.

After Andy got back from Iraq, we had alot of activities to go to with the men in his platoon. One night they had this great idea to go to the roller derby. We thought that would be different, and so we went along.
THAT is a great sport! I had no idea that there was actually rules to the game, and it wasn't just girls on skates knocking each other around!
We had so much fun.
FINALLY!

This has been a long time coming! Emily and David snuggled up watching a movie. It has taken Emily a full year to finally accept David into the family. I will never forget taking the girls with me to the ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. When they told us it would be a boy, Emily did not hesitate as she told us, "THAT is not MY baby, MY baby is a GIRL!"
I could not ask her to get me diapers for the baby, or to throw a diaper away. She wanted nothing to do with David. She would emphatically tell me that she did not like babies, especially boy babyies.
Since her Dad has come home she has grown used to the idea, and her and David play well together. She is quick to tell Andy and I that we need to be nice to David he is JUST a baby.
She is also quick to point the finger at David if someone is about to get in trouble for something! :)
Away in a manger.........

I used to have the coolest nativity set. Andy got it in Panama, it was made out of soapstone. It was carved by one of the little villagers that lived in the area that he was working in. Eventually Sarah would break the heads off of all of the people by the time she was 3. So no more nativity!
Every year around Chirstmas time I go out and look for the perfect nativity. Still not finding one, Andy and I decided to make one together. He made the manger, and I made the people. We are awfully proud of it!

Bailey AKA "Slick"
This fall he played football, and did wrestling. the coaches both said that Bailey had a natural aptitude for the sports, and with work he can hone his skills to be great in both sports. He is talking about lacrosse or baseball this spring.
He scored both a deer and an antelope hunting with his Dad. They go duck hunting alot so he is a pretty good shot there too.
He is 12 now, turning 13 in June.
Sarah AKA "The Monkey"
The Monkey is 6 years old in this picture. We were at Camp Alice Pittenger during Memorial day weekend doing clean up so things would be ready for that summers campers.
Monkey is a self proclaimed animal rescuer like her sister. She is a horse lover, and would love to have one of her very own.
She is 7 now, and still wants a horse!
Emily AKA "The Weasel"
Introducing David Henry Guy
Thanks for the Great Idea Dianne!
My friend Dianne, has a sister that keeps her family up to date with their on goings via a blog. How great is that? So I am going to try it.
This picture is of me and the kids (minus Bailey & Elizabeth) in Pike Market in Seattle. the girls are sitting on the big piggy bank, Emily and David obviously more interested in the pigeons on the ground then they are of looking at the camera!
